As the framework for our site was getting closer to being fully developed, I went to scout out and look at some local businesses in hopes of getting them to sign on as a member of my site. The two places with the highest concentration for businesses in Michigan were Detroit and Grand Rapids. When I went to these places my whole concept behind the site drastically shifted for the better. These shops I saw were magnificent- works of art in their own right. With that, I realized that every Michigan startup carried the culture of its city in its, clothing, decor, and works of art.That’s how I solidified what this site was meant to be: a celebration of Michigan’s culture! I found that each city in Michigan carried its own culture. Michiganders so closely identify with themselves, their ideals, and their places. That’s why I wanted to create an online site where people can shop Michigan made products. Dually, I wanted the culture of these Michigan cities to spread to other places through Michigan made products, so that others can see how great the cultures of Michigan truly are. We love Michigan and the power that all of these companies can have so much that we decided this is where our passion should lie. So, we started three new branches to Packonomy as well: web development and design, content creation and creative advertising, and marketing strategies and implementation. Yes, we are now ready to provide an all-in-house, full-service company to our beloved small businesses and startups. Packonomy is in the midst of creating a cultural and shopping break through in the e-commerce market. Join the movement today!

On the other side of our company is the Packonomy Marketplace found in the shop tab on this site. Our marketplace features products from the company’s that we have worked with. As of right now, we work only out of Michigan, so our mission with Packonomy Marketplace was to capture Michigan’s culture through our companies and products featured on here. But not just some of Michigan, all of it. This state has such a variety of subcultures that create who all of us Michiganders are. From Detroit to Grand Rapids to Harbor Springs to the Yoopers, it’s in our blood.
